about
I am so sick of all the songs about how great and perfect the rock & roll lifestyle is, especially if you “make it.” (I am looking at you Nickelback.) So, I wrote a song about the real rock lifestyle, full of bad contracts, paparazzi, and unhappiness. I think this song, though only 2 verses, 1 pre-chorus, and chorus, says a lot. I think the “rock star” is a photoshopped myth of a few egomaniacs who wish everyone would f**k them. Well in reality, you get that, just not the kind of F-ing you want.
